This CD is a private recording made by Mark Dallas (Bb cornet), Richard’s son, Debbie Crane (vocal) and David Mortlock (pianoforte).
The purpose is to raise funds for cancer research, this being the illness to which Richard finally succumbed, and to celebrate his work, along with his wife Hilda, as Salvation Army officers.
The music is intended to provide a background that will help us reflect on the wonder of God’s work, and also to inspire our acceptance of Him in our daily living.
Most of the tracks originated as songs, and the words associated with all the melodies have been included.
